The CV213velocity sensors is designed for measuring low-frequency absolute vibration. When used with a cable assembly, the sensors can be connected directly to monitoring electronics without the need for additional signal conditioners or power supplies.
The two devices are similar in construction and performance, with the CV213 being suitable for high-temperature applications. Their excellent sensitivity and rugged design make them suitable for all types of low-speed industrial machinery. Their anodized aluminum housing and waterproof, sealed connectors enable them to withstand humid and corrosive environments.
The sensor's sensing element consists of a coil rotating around a permanent magnet. This assembly generates a voltage proportional to the vibration velocity. No external power source is required to generate this signal, making these devices ideal for portable measurement applications.
