The IQS452 204-452-000-221 is a fully integrated proximity-type eddy-current sensor system designed specifically for monitoring critical parameters of rotating machinery. Its core value lies in its ability to accurately capture mechanical status data during operation through non-contact measurement, providing essential data support for fault warning, condition-based maintenance, and safe operation of rotating machinery.
A complete IQS452 204-452-000-221 system includes a probe, extension cable, connecting probe, and preamplifier.
As the system's "sensing front end," the probe directly contacts the rotating machinery shaft or component under test. Its structure and parameters determine the fundamental accuracy of the measurement. The standard design utilizes an 8 mm diameter metal rod made of stainless steel for corrosion and wear resistance. The probe's front end houses a sealed high-frequency coil wound with high-temperature-resistant, low-loss wire and sealed to isolate it from external environmental interference.
The extension cable serves as the "signal bridge" connecting the probe and the preamplifier. Its core function is to extend the physical distance between the probe and the preamplifier. The extension cable length is a key parameter in the factory calibration of the entire system, and cables of different lengths cannot be arbitrarily replaced.
The preamplifier is the "signal processing and power supply core" of the system, assuming the key functions of power supply, signal amplification, and conversion. The preamplifier requires an external -24 V DC power supply and uses an internal voltage regulator circuit to provide a stable operating voltage to the probe, ensuring that the probe coil generates a constant high-frequency magnetic field. The preamplifier receives the weak eddy current signal transmitted by the probe and converts it into a standard DC voltage signal through internal amplification, filtering, and demodulation circuits. The final output is a DC voltage signal in the range of -2 V to -18 V, which is directly proportional to the measured parameter.
