- The FBM233 Redundant Field Device System Integrator (FDSI) module provides an Ethernet interface for connecting single-port or dual-port field I/O devices and I/A series systems.
- Redundant 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps Ethernet
- The transmission rate between field devices can communicate with up to 64 field devices
- I/O software drivers can be downloaded from the available protocol libraries
- Up to 2000 DCI modules can be connected
- Integrate field device data into the I/A series using Ethernet connections
- Control the on-site installation of the G3-level environment in the database.
Technical Specifications：
- Each FBM233 module is equipped with a 10/100Mbps copper Ethernet interface and an RJ-45 connector on the front for connecting dual-port Ethernet devices. The FBM233 can be connected to an Ethernet switch or hub to communicate with one or up to 64 external devices.
- When two modules are combined, redundancy can be provided at the fieldbus module (FBM) level. In this configuration, one FBM233 is the master station and the other is the tracker module. The input points on the control station are updated by the device input received from the network connected to the master station.
- The output point of the device depends on the I/O driver and is written jointly by the master station and the tracker module.
If the I/O driver detects a problem, role switching will be carried out automatically. Users can also switch roles at any time through SMDH.
- FBM233 collects the required data from the device, performs the necessary conversions, and then stores the converted data in its database for
Integrated into the I/A series factory management functions and operator display screens. Data can also be written from I/A series systems to various devices. - Each pair of FBM233 can access up to 64 devices for data reading and writing.
- Through the I/A series control station connected to the FBM233, up to 2,000 distributed control Interface (DCI) data connections can be established for data reading and writing.
- The supported data types depend on the specific driver loaded on FBM233, which converts the data to the DCI data types listed below:
Analog input or output values
A single numeric input or output value
Multiple digital input or output values.
