The IS420YDOAS1B offers multiple independent output channels, each of which can be independently configured to be powered on or off by the controller. This is a solid-state electronic output module that uses MOSFET transistors as switching elements. Its advantages include extremely fast switching speed, no mechanical contacts, extremely long lifespan, no operating noise, and good vibration resistance.
Typical output is 24 V DC, with each channel typically having a drive current between 0.5A and 2A. Internally, optocouplers electrically isolate the low-voltage logic circuitry of the control system from the field load power supply circuitry. This prevents voltage spikes and noise from the field side from damaging the sensitive controller.
Typical process inputs include contact signals, analog signals, and thermocouple signals. Typical process outputs include relay outputs and analog outputs. All typical input-based process outputs are processed by the system controller. The following process I/O packages are available for Lark VleS functional safety systems.
